New Works from Michael Cain

In this show, I focused on
experimenting with a wide variety of
materials and techniques to create more narrative elements in the
work.
Instead of focusing on design, I wanted to say a little more with
each
piece. A lot of the ideas came from what I saw as the personality
of
the glass figure heads that I sculpted on the neon torch. As a result,
I
designed around that narrative idea and chose what I felt would be
the
appropriate materials to get the mood across. |
